Another new layout!

Laura of Simply Scraps Designs has another new kit coming out.

You'll remember that I worked with her Pour Some Sugar on Me kit a couple of weeks ago. Her new kit is called Trendsetter. It's so cute. I love all the funky elements, and I love when designers create specifically with boys in mind.

Here's my layout with Laura's new kit!

New Layouts

If you haven't checked out Scrapbrat Designs, you need to visit DigiDesignResort or Color Line Designs today. She's a great designer and has just released her latest kit Love Affair.

I had the chance to work with it this week and it's beautiful. Here are the two layouts I did using Trudie's kit. As you can see they are completely different. This kit is very versatile.

Woo Hoo! More new layouts

I'm still trying to get caught up on all my old pictures, so I can make more hard bound books for my boys. Gianni loved his baby book he got for Christmas. I don't seem to have a lot of pages done yet for his 1 year to 2 year book. I was able to do two more layouts last night. Both layouts are for his 1-2 book. I'm now up to 14 layouts for 2009. I used a great new kit by Stacey Crossley at Pretty Scrappy. The kit is called Spring Fling. Here is a preview of the kit.

And here are the layouts...

January 365 Layouts + A New Freebie!

I can't believe it's Saturday again. My maternity leave seems to be flying by. It's hard to believe that Marcus is 7 weeks old already. He really is growing fast. I look at him and he seems so much older than 7 weeks. I want it to slow down a little. Knowing that he's probably my last baby, I don't want him to grow up too fast. Oh well, time flies regardless. I just have to remember to treasure these days.

I want to share with you the layouts my CT and guest CT have done with my latest kit January 365. It's the first in my monthly series of kits geared toward Project 365. As you'll see from the layouts, it's a versatile kit and you can use it for much more than just Project 365. You can pick up the kit at Divine Digital for just $2.00.

Here is the kit preview followed by the CT layouts!

Today's freebie coordinates with my damask snowflake freebie from a few days ago and with the January 365 kit. Click here to download.

KKD News, New Kit, New One Kit Call, New Layouts, and a Freebie

I'm packing a lot into this post so here it goes! I'm going to share some new layouts using products from designers that are new to me, news about my sale at my personal store, a new kit at Divine Digital with a one kit call, and a little freebie for you!

Somehow I'm managing to find time to scrap. It's amazing to me that I am finding the time with a newborn. Chalk it up to having an infant that's a great sleeper, during the day at least!

I have several more layouts to share. I've worked with two fantastic designers this week that are new to me. The first is Carolyn Kite that designs for Scrap-N-Tag. The kit I used for the layouts was Sugar Baby Love as well as Carolyn's coordinating cluster set. The kit was perfect for scrapping some of Marcus' pictures I took on New Year's Day. Here are the two layouts I made using Carolyn's designs.

The second designer I worked with this week was Mama Mia Designs by Mandy who sells at Designing Moments. I worked with some of her great Christmas designs including Shrinky Dink Sparkle Flakes, Merry Making Mini Kit, Christmas Fun Tags, Holiday Plaid alpha, and her Holiday Greetings. What fun products! Here are the layouts I created with Mandy's Designs.

It's been really cold here in the Northeast which is one reason I've had the time to scrap lately. It's too cold to be outside or brave the elements to go just about anywhere. Since I've had some extra time to scrap, I'm hoping you're taking some time for yourself to scrap as well. To help you along in that process, I'm having at 50% off sale at Karla's Kaleidoscope Designs. This includes commercial use and the Buy the Store promotion. You're getting some great deals on products you can use to scrap your memories this winter.

My latest kit, January 365, is now available at Divine Digital. It's the first in a twelve month series for Project 365. The kit is for January. It's a great kit because of it's versatility. It's designed for Project 365, but it can be used for so much more. It's priced right too at just $2.00! Here's a preview of the kit.

Included in this kit are

four templates
ten background papers
three pieces wordart
three bows
one piece of chicken wire
one crumpled paper
three frames
days of the week buttons in three colors
days of the week transparent tape
three tabbed frames
one journal
two journal blocks
one mat
one pine cluster
three snowflakes
thirty one date stamps
two pieces of strings
one pieces of stitches

I'm looking for a few more scrappers to do layouts with this new kit. So if you're interested in a one kit call, check out my thread at DST.

I also have a little freebie for you today. Here are some Damask Style Snowflakes. You'll find some in the kit as well. You can download them here.

Have a great day!

In the Neighborhood layouts

I had the opportunity to work with an amazing kit this weekend by Pretty Scrappy. The kit is called In the Neighborhood. It has tons of elements and papers and the color palette is so bright and cheerful. I scrapped a layout of Gianni from the summer of 2007 and a picture of him from last weekend.

Here's the layout with the picture from 2007. He's grown so much!

And here is the layout with the picture from last week. I was trying to take Marcus' one month shots when Gianni decided he needed to be in the pictures too. Needless to say when I want to take his picture he doesn't cooperate. However, this picture is kind of cute.

I adapted a template by Dunia for the second layout.

You have to check out Pretty Scrappy's kit, In the Neighborhood. As you can see from my layouts the colors are so bright and the kit is so much fun to work with. It has loads of possibilities.

Here's a preview of the kit and a link to the kit in Pretty Scrappy's Store.

New kit, new grab bags, new freebie

Wow, it's been ages since I updated the blog. I haven't updated since Marcus was born December 4th. Our second child was born 12/4 at 5:22 AM, weighing 8 lbs. 9 oz. and measuring 21 inches. He is a joy, and a very different baby then his brother was. Marcus sleeps a lot more, making the transition for all of us a bit easier. His brother is adjusting well and tells me everyday he loves his new brother. That warms my heart. I'm so glad he's accepting his new role so well.

Here's a pic of the boys meeting for the first time...

I need to get more pics up soon.

I have a new kit out today at Divine Digital called Baby Valentine. It's perfect for baby layouts, love layouts, and scrapping baby's first Valentine's Day. Here's a preview of the kit...

And here's some layouts by some guest creative team members...

You can purchase the kit for just $3.50 all weekend long.

I also have two grab bags this weekend. One is a personal use grab bag that has two kits and two alphas. It's priced at just $2.00! I also have a commercial use bag that have 5 brand new designer resources for just $3.00. The rest of my Divine Digital boutique is priced at just $2.00 an item all weekend long. You can check out all my designs there.

Finally, I have a wordart freebie that coordinates with the new kit. Here's a preview...

You can download it here...

Have a great weekend!
