I've been trying to get some layouts done before I head back to work next week. I want to have as much done as possible too before the new baby arrives in December. I have no idea how that's going to impact everything. I'm so used to how things are now, especially now that our son is 3 and getting more independent everyday.
Yesterday I did three layouts. I had intended on working on backlogged baby layouts-3 years later! But instead I did one baby layout and 2 toddler layouts. I think I'm pretty happy with each. I aspire to create layouts like the ones I see in the gallery standouts at DST but somehow that hasn't happened yet. I guess I need a lot more practice.
When thinking about a freebie for today, my one layout immediately came to mind. I don't have any extra money to purchase kits at the moment, so I've been digging into my stash of existing kits to create the layouts I've been working on this week. When I got to the title work I realized my supply of alphas is probably where I'm lacking the most. So without the right alphabet, I decided to create my own word art title. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. You can see it in the layout below.
