Yes, it's true! I have another great quickpage to share with you today. My creative team is still hard at work, and you all get to reep the benefits. Today's quickpage is by Laura. I love her work; I just don't know how she finds the time with triplets! You go girl!
I'm a little late posting this today. It's been a hectic week. We're giving state exams this week to our 3-5 graders, so my week has looked a little different than normal. We also began our second round of the DIBELS for our K kids, so I've basically be doing assessments all day. I pretty much feel like I need to veg after repeating the same directions about 20 different times or the course of a day.
Today's quickpage comes to us from my CT member, Linda. I know you're really going to enjoy it! Here's a preview...
Today's installment of our quickpage giveaway is made by Rose of Rose McDigitals Designs. I'm so glad Rose has been able to stay a part of my CT even though she has also branched off and become an amazing designer in her own right. I frequently use her templates for personal and professional layouts.
Here's a layout I did this weekend using Rose's new About a Boy Kit.
You can find Rose's great templates and kits at K-Joi, Scrappers Zone, and Busy Bee Scrappers.
My January Grab Bags have been revealed! I have put my January grab bags up at Karla's Kaleidoscope Designs. The best part is they're still available at the grab bag prices: $2.00 for the personal use grab bag and $4.00 for the commercial use grab bag. You can check them out here. They're available at these prices for a limited time, so get them while you can!
My creative team has really enjoyed working with the Midnight Snow items from the personal use grab bag, so we're pleased to offer quickpage freebies made from the items in this set. The first is by my dear digi friend Tina Williams of Tina Williams Designs. She made this quickpage freebie from the grab bag items and using one of her great border templates. You can grab the quickpage freebie here.
Here's the page Tina made with the quickpage. Note that the quickpage is free of any text.
I've been trying to write down five things I'm thankful for each day in 2008. So far I haven't done very well...lol. Well, not so bad actually. I did 1/1 and I thought about 1/2 just didn't write anything down yet.
Let's see five things I thought of for 1/2:
1. Being able to go back to a great job. 2. Coming home to my favorite little man after a day at work. 3. Mac and cheese. 4. My new flannel comforter. 5. The funny things my toddler says that always make me laugh.
Today's five are... 1. Tomorrow's weather forecast is warmer! 2. Creativity 3. My mom who is an awesome Grandma! 4. My amazing CT. 5. My grandpa. He's been gone now 24 years today, but he lives in my heart. My memories of him are so fresh and vivid. I want them always to be that way.
I'm so excited to share with you that it's time for Divine Digitals Grab Bag Sale again. This weekend you can get great personal and commercial use grab bags at amazing prices. I will have a personal use and a commercial use this weekend! The sale starts midnight tonight and runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I hope you'll stop by and pick up these great bags.
I just have to share this layout with you that my CT member Linda did with the persoanl use grab bag. It's just so cute. Linda has done another one of her great extractions on this layout. All the items, except the alpha, can be found in my personal use grab bag available this weekend only for just $2.00!
I have a freebie for you today. It's a 4 x 6 brag book page perfect for the snowy winter weather we've been having in the North East. This is from my first kit I did last year. I hope to redo it sometime soon. I still really love this kit, but I think I've gotten a lot better at designing in a year's time. You can grab the quickpage here.
Happy New Year everyone. It's hard to believe it's 2008. I started a layout yesterday for New Year's and have yet to finish it. It needs a new pic of me (oh joy!) and journaling for today. It's going to be a then and now kind of thing. As a teenager I was very much a homebody-wallflower type still am for that matter. I spent nearly all if not all my NYE's at home with the parental units watching Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve and the ball drop. After the ball dropped and before I fell asleep I'd write a New Year's entry in my journal. I pulled one journal out yesterday for this layout. Wow, was I ever a melancholy teenager. Here's the entry from 1/1/85 when I was 14...
A new year is dawning- a past year left behind to fade. On this eve of a new year, tarnished memories of forgetten years come to mind. They remind us of mistakes and failures. But New Year’s is a new beginning, a fresh start, and a second change to make life meaningful. Jan. 1, 1985 - Fourteen years young
And here's the lovely pic I'm going to put with it...
You have to love that fuzzy mullet right? What can I save it was the 80s.
I'm so glad my life today is not the one I had imagined as a teenager. It's much better according to God's plan than my own.
I'm having a little, well not so little sale today. Everything is marked down at Karla's Kaleidoscope Designs 80% today only. Stop on by and pick up some goodies!
Today's freebie is from my Froggy Add-on kit. It's a cute little word art that you can grab here.
