I had the great opportunity this week to be a guest CT for Rachness Designs and use her beautiful new kit, Villa Elena. I love the colors of this kit, just perfect for the theme of the kit that your family is your home. I did two layouts with the kit and Rachelle was nice enough to let me design a quickpage freebie for you using the kit!

Here's a look at my new kit, August 365. It's the August installment in my Project 365 series.
Today's freebie is a set of Christmas paper shapers. Here's a preview.
I can't believe it's almost our anniversary. Tomorrow we will have been married 7 years and together 9. You know how guys usually forget anniversaries? Well, this year it was me. My hubby asked me the other day if we wanted to go out to eat today to a "fancy" restaurant. I looked at him quite perplexed and asked why. He wasn't too happy. I apologized profusely, but the day to day Mommy stuff makes me forget what day it is...truly!
So since anniversaries have been on my mind ever since :), I decided to scrap some of our honeymoon shots that have been sitting in a box for the last 7 years. No digital shots just the shots we took from cameras left over from the reception table cameras. So even with some great photo actions from Coffee Shop, they're not the best pics in the world. At least we have them.
I used a great kit that's releasing on Monday, July 27th. The kit is called Holiday Memories and it's by Rena Designs. You'll be able to pick it up tomorrow in both her stores: Digi-Shoppe and Scrap Dreams Here's the kit preview...
And here are three layouts I did with the kit. The Cayman Island layout is my favorite.
I love July. It's my favorite part of summer. I don't feel the pressure of school starting yet like I do in August, and I can just enjoy the little things with my kids and husband. I just wish July was twice as long.
I always have big summer plans too for what I want to get done around the house. It might not look like it, but I'm really on track. I've gotten the porch cleaned...finally. I organized the kids playroom. And I'm meeting my goals of using my crockpot at least once a week and trying at least one new recipe. We've tried a couple of new dairy free/egg free recipes for my oldest son. So far the PB Banana Chip muffins are the big winner. But his all-time favorite is zucchini brownies- a recipe we discovered last summer. We've made them once this season, but he's already asking when I'm going to make them again. Unfortunately our one zucchini plant seems to be growing just one little zucchini at a time. Here's a link to the zucchini brownies on All Recipes. They're yummy. I make them without the frosting b/c of Gianni's milk allergy.
Here's a quick peak at my new releases at Divine Digital.
Each is priced at a $1 today for Dollar Friday. You can find them all in my boutique.
Here's today's freebie. It's a sweet little mini kit. I hope you enjoy it. You can download it here.
It's another $1 Friday at Divine. And today I've decided to put my entire store in sale for $1 a product. I hope you'll stop by and check out these great bargains.

Wow, it's been over three months since I posted. Being back to work with two kids left me little time for scrapping, designing, or blogging. This has been the first week I've been caught up enough to get back on track since summer break started.
Let's see...what's new in the time I've been away. I went back to work a month earlier than planned b/c hubbie got laid off. It wasn't as hard to go back to work as I imagined it would be and the three months really seemed to fly by. Marcus is now 7 months old and trying hard to crawl. My husband decided to take a class this summer and the boys went to daycare for the first time. I never dreamed I would spend so much time each day getting things ready for daycare. Marcus needed breast milk pumped, unfrozen, and packed along with his bottlesand bottles each day. Gianni, due to his food allergies, needed all his own food packed each day. Then there was getting their bags packed and unpacked each day. It took hours every day. It seemed like by the time I did that, made dinner, and bathed the kids it was time for bed. At least the kiddos really liked the sitter and we made it through without any food allergy reactions. G did have problems with the pets at the sitter, so we know that's still one of his top allergens besides his food allergens.
On to the layout...
My first layout in three months was done using a kit called All Boys by Digiscrapations. The elements in this kit are so sweet and the colors worked perfectly with this picture of Marcus playing with one of G's new toys. I guess boys truly are born loving cars.
Well, Marcus is just days away from being four months old. It's gone so fast. In a week, I have to go back to work and I'm dreading it. I'm so not ready! It doesn't help that he's so much fun right now. I hate the thought of missing anything new that he does.
I found another great kit perfect for baby layouts, especially sleeping baby layouts. It's a beautiful kit by Miranda Scrap Designs. I love how she picked a neutral baby color of yellow for the kit. You can find Sweet Dreams at E-scape and Scrap and Scrappin Digi Kreations. If you get this kit, make sure you pick up Miranda's coordinating wordart!
I used the kit to create two new layouts for Marcus.
I love snapping pictures of my boys asleep. I just can't get enough of those kind of shots. They're like little angels. I'm still planning to make a good night book for Gianni with all his sleeping layouts. Just another project I've yet to complete!
The layouts I have to share with you today are created using a wonderful kit by Faba Scrap Design. I love the colors she picked for the kit. It's very versatile and will work for both boys and girls. Here's a preview of her kit.
You can find Faba's kit at Angels Scrap Shop. You don't want to miss this kit as it's on sale now for an incredible $2.59!
Here are my layouts. One is little Marcus and the other is my big guy Gianni. I love how Gianni still curls up into a little ball when he sleeps.
