It's hard to believe but I've been designing for two years. My first kit was completed over February break in 2007 and was entitled Wintry Wonders. I started selling off the blog and then was picked up to sell in another designer's store before I opened Karla's Kaleidoscope Designs in late summer 2007. Later that fall I moved to Divine Digital. Now here we are two years later still running my own personal store, selling at Divine Digital and at Digi Scraps 'N More.

new layouts

Well, it's time to share some new layouts I've been working on with some kits by designers that are new to me. I've had a lot of fun working with different designers this year, and I love being able to share them with you. I hope you'll find some new to you designers this way and fall in love with their work like I have.

The first set of layouts are using a kit called Rafael by Aimee Designs.



This is a great boy kit. I did two layouts with pics of Gianni, one from a few years ago and one with a pic from this week.




You can find Aimee's designs at scrapladies , Kjoi Studios, and Studio Style.

The other kit I worked with is For Men by Joey. Joey sells at Scrapmalin.com and the kit will be out soon. It's great to find a kit that is designed with just men in mind. I did two layouts with pics of John. I finally got around to scrapping his pics from when he was business of the year two years ago.

I have another great kit to share with you. It's coming out on Friday. It's called Boys World and it's from Studio Manu at Scrapbook Graphics. This kit is amazing. As a mom of boys, you know how much I love a good boy kit. This kit is not just good it's great. Here's a preview of the kit.



I did two layouts. One is of Marcus using one of his two month pics I took yesterday. Yes, it's true. He's two months old already and growing in leaps and bonds. He's so long he's out of 0-3 month clothes. Here's Marcus' layout.



The other layout is Gianni in the summer of 2007. We had an excavator in the backyard. He couldn't resist getting up on it and pretending to drive. I'm so glad I finally got the chance to scrap the pics. Here's the layout.

New Layouts with Cottage Rose

This week I'm working with a kit by Scrapbear Designs. The kit is called Cottage Rose and is simply beautiful. I just love the shabby chic feel of this kit. You can find Scrapbear Designs at Cottage Scrapbooks, The Digi Boutique, and The Scrap Vault.
